Thank you for supporting the Rucker Collier Foundation. Our pledge to you is that your thoughtful gift will make a difference for families like ours. Our family knows what it is like to face the challenge of having a child diagnosed with a rare cancer; one that is underfunded, understudied, and for which there is no proven therapy. We know first-hand what can be done to make a difference in the lives of those that come after us. Your gifts will directly support our mission.
Our Mission:
The Rucker Collier Foundation’s mission is primarily to raise awareness and funding for the scientific research needed to find effective therapies for Sclerosing Epithelioid Fibrosarcoma (“SEF”). In addition we plan to support families affected by this disease and other rare pediatric sarcomas to enable them to better advocate for their children. Lastly, we plan to support organizations that we have personally experienced that touched our lives in a meaningful way in our fight for our beloved son.
What We Plan to Achieve:
Continue to fund much needed research to find effective therapies for SEF.
Raise awareness and advocate for the funding of orphan pediatric cancers.
Help parents and caregivers advocate for their children. Help knock down the barriers to get the right treatment and provide financial support if needed.
Support organizations that we have personally been touched by throughout our journey.
